In later years, she also used a wheelchair for support. Her height caused a lot of health problems to her. She spent the last few years of her life in Indiana and she was bedridden.

She was born in a very poor farmer’s family in Liuan, Shucheng.

When she was just 3 years old, her diet was around 3 times the diet of her siblings of same age. When she crossed 11 years, she was 6 feet and 2 inches tall. When she was 15, her height was 6 feet and 9 inches. When she was 15, she was unable to get treatment for her illness because of her family’s poor condition. To be a sports star, she was too weak. Because of low funds, she couldn’t get treated properly. This is the reason behind her story. The TLC network devoted a show to pay tribute to her life in 2009. Bleeding in her brain was also an issue.
