10. The Ghost Cat (Bhootbilli)
It is a weird and scary creature which truly scares the locals off in some areas of Pune. It is a strange animal which seems to be a cross-breed between a mongoose, a cat and dog. Its appearance is truly very frightening. According to an eyewitness, the animal is broad and fat, black in color, with long tail, and back like mongoose and face like a dog. It can jump long distances. It is known for scaring the locals and killing livestock. According to some locals, Bhootbilli is bigger than a hyena and smaller than lion. Whether it exists or not is still a matter of debate.
9. Ladakh’s Kongka La Pass
The UFO Base at the Kongka La Pass is alleged to be located in the Himalayas. It is a no-man’s land under dispute between Indo-China borders. Both countries have an eye over it but neither occupied nor patrolled it. Because of less human interference, UFOs used to travel in and out here, according to some people. It is also believed that aliens have their underground base there. It is rumored that several giant flying saucers are hidden underground. According to several residents and travelers, the UFOs are seen flying from the ground. Indian and Chinese governments are alleged to know about it very much.

Magnetic Hill is located in the region of Ladakh. As the name suggests, the hill attracts anything towards it. You may park your car anywhere on the steep road and it will roll up at around 20 km per hour. It is a supernatural phenomenon known as Himalayan wonder. People from different parts of the world get there to experience the hidden power of nature. Scientists believe that it creates optical illusion in which roads, mountains, and hill is aligned so well that makes area seem a steep uphill terrain. Instead the road goes downhill.

6. The Story behind the Taj
Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World built by Shah Jahan, the Mughal Emperor. He wanted to build a mausoleum in the loving memory of his deceased wife. However, according to some evidence, the mausoleum is around 300 years older as compared to Shah Jahan. According to New Delhi-based professor, P.N. Oak, the building was actually Tejo Mahalaya, an ancient Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva. In addition, Shah Jahan hardly made any changes on the temple and devoted it to Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the tales when Indian kings seized enemy mansions and temples and renovated them and transformed in to tombs to dedicate these to their loved ones. Until the government tells experts to investigate the room, the mystery continues.
5. Cursed Village of Kuldhara
It was a 500 years old village once populated by around 1500 residents. They just vanished off one dark night. They neither kidnapped nor died. Instead, they just left. It is still a doubt why they suddenly evacuated. Some believe that they were not able to bear the torment of taxation. While leaving the village, people cursed the area and it became not fit to live in for humans. A legend claims that anyone who ever tried to stay in this village died brutally. The village is supposed to be haunted and strange events have been experienced by the paranormal experts in this cursed area. It is still a deserted village.
4. Jodhpur Boom
On 18th December, 2012, locals at Jodhpur suddenly heard a loud boom. It was actually a very noisy sound which startled the people like a huge explosion. Locals tried to do investigation themselves in order to find if it was an airplane crashing on the land. They got shocked to know that there was no explosion took place and no plane was flying there. The source was an absolute mystery. Throughout the December, the mysterious booms heard across the world, from UK to the US.
3. The 9 Members of Secret Society
Emperor Asoka founded a mysterious secret society in 273 BC after a furious battle where 100,000 lives were killed. A special book of knowledge is given to each of 9 unknown men, from alchemy to microbiology. A legend claims that the unknown men had several supernatural powers, such as time travel and anti-gravity. Like Illuminati of the West, the past and current members are speculated to exist. 2. Kodinhi – Village where Only Twins Born
Kodinhi is a remote village in the state of Kerala which has a unique phenomenon. Huge number of twins is born. The village is inhabited by 2000 families. 250 sets have officially been registered. The number of births of twins is supposed to be increasing every year.
In the 1930s, Shanti Devi was born in Delhi who claimed that her biological father and mothers were not her real parents. In addition, she told that “Ludgi” was her real name. According to Shanti Devi, her real family lived at another place. She declared to her parents and the village that she died during her birth and reincarnated. Her parents were worried and chose to find the truth related to these claims. She told the name of the town where she lived before death with her husband.
