These are known to be amazing structures which inspire us always and show that there is something which created such astonishing wonders.

10. Table Mountain

Table Mountain is probably the only mountain in the world with flat top forming the major landmark giving the panoramic view of Cape Town skyline in South Africa. It is a great tourist attraction where several visitors hike to the top or use cableway. The level plateau is around 3 km wide from side to side, cornered by beautiful cliffs. Covered by Devil’s Peak towards the east and Lion’s Head towards the west, the plateau gives a great view of Cape Town. This wide sweep of heights with Signal Hill gives the bird’s eye view of the Table Bay and City Bowl harbor. Marked by Maclear’s Beacon, the highest point is located to the east of the plateau. It is located 1086m above the sea level and 19m higher than cable station at the west of the plateau.

Located in the Gulf of Tonkin, Ha Long Bay consists of 1600 islets and islands, forming the amazing view of limestone pillars. Due to their steep slope, most parts of the islands are untouched and uninhabited by humans. The amazing scenic beauty of the site is loved by several nature lovers. The bay has thousands of isles and limestone karsts in different shapes and sizes. In this bay, the limestone has been formed in different environments and conditions over 500 million years. In this bay, the evolution of the karst took over 20 million years under the impact of wet climate. It houses 60 endemic fauna and 14 endemic flora species. According to historical researches, it once inhabited prehistoric humans around tens of thousands of years back.

This Subterranean river national park is another most amazing natural wonder and one of the most eminent conserved areas in the Philippines. It is located somewhere in Manila. In 1971, it was declared national park to preserve and protect the old growth forest, exotic white sand beaches, amazing wildlife, untouched natural ambience and the most exciting cave system in the world.

7. Jejudo Island

The Jeju volcanic island is located somewhere 130 km from the south of Korea. It is the smallest province and largest island of Korea, with the surface area of around 1846 sq. km. The island houses Lava Tubes and Jeju Volcanic Island, the natural World Heritage Site. The Hallasan is the center of attraction in Jeju Island, a dominant volcano and the tallest mountain of South Korea, rises around 1950m above the sea level.

Paricutin is actually a cinder cone volcano located somewhere in Michoacán, Mexico. The most interesting part of the volcano is the fact that human beings has studied and observed its evolution just from the creation to extinction. It seems to appear on several versions as one of the Natural Wonders of the World. It is one of the parts of Michoacán-Guanajuato range of volcanoes, covering most parts of the west central Mexico. It is one of the Rings of Fire.

Also known as the Devil’s Throat, the Garganta Del Diablo, due to its U-shape, is definitely the center of attraction of these giant waterfalls. It is 150m wide, 82m high and 700m long, when the rest of the falls averaging 64m. Iguazu Falls has been among the most scenic and idyllic tourist destinations of Brazil and Argentina. It houses over 70 mammals, 400 birds and 2000 plant species as registered in this region.

The lights from aurora appear frequently as the diffused glow which lights up the horizon. When the northern lights seem to appear as waves over the sky, it creates the most exciting sight and feels like the lights are dancing.

It is among the most notable natural wonders in the world. Grand Canyon is located somewhere in Arizona State of USA. It is among the deepest gorges in the world. On average, it is around 1 mile deep and around 10 miles wide.  The Grand Canyon is beautifully carved by nature around the 6 million years because the Colorado River dropped around 2200 feet over the 277 miles of the gorge. The Native Americans have been living in this region for thousands of years. They built their settlements in the canyon and several caves. The Grand Canyon is considered as the holy site by the Pueblo people who built pilgrimages in it.

 The king of the mountains, Mt. Everest is undoubtedly the mightiest, grandest and highest mountain in the world, where the summit reaches above 29029 ft. (8848m). It is borders Tibet, Nepal and China and located in the Himalayan mountain ranges. This gigantic mountain has a great and long-back history. It was named in honor of the surveyor-general in India, Sir George Everest. Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary are supposed to be the first to climb the highest mountain in the world. Their companions left them behind on May 28, 1953. They were declared the first in the world for climbing the Mt. Everest.
